FAQs

Common questions & quick fixes

Try these first. If your appliance still isn't behaving, book a service call and one of our engineers will take it from there.

How do I register my warranty?

Register within 30 days of purchase at yourappliancecover.co.uk/cata using your model number, serial number and proof of purchase. You'll get email confirmation once cover is active.

Where do I find spare parts for my appliance?

Search by model number at our spares site to find genuine CATA parts, from door seals and hinges to control boards and filters.

My oven or hob isn't powering on, what should I check first?

Check the appliance is switched on at the wall, the fuse in the plug hasn't blown, and the circuit isn't tripped at your consumer unit. If it still won't power on, book a service call.

My cooker hood or fridge is noisier or warmer than usual, is that normal?

A little extra noise after moving the appliance, or a fridge running warmer during a heatwave or after restocking, is usually normal. If it persists for more than a day or two, get in touch.

What's the difference between the CATA 100, 300, 500 and 700 ranges?

100, 300 and 500 are unbranded and sold under your kitchen retailer's own brand, at increasing levels of specification. 700 is the Cata-branded flagship range.

My manual is missing or I've lost the installation guide, what now?

Every current manual is available to download free from our manuals page, search by model number to find installation, user and quick-start guides.
